PHP

Various PHP modules are available. See the current Extensions Summary

PHPMailer - http://phpmailer.sourceforge.net
Simply include this line within your PHP code:
require("class.phpmailer.php");
For new code, we recommend you instead use version 4 or later of SwiftMailer as described below.

Swift Mailer - http://www.swiftmailer.org (we run version 4+ but old 3x still available)

This is an easy replacement for the php mail() function which allows email to be sent using Authenticated SMTP

NOTE: the DisableACL and the DisableRegisterServer registry settings are both set to 1 in the webpub.net environment - see the manual below.
You should retrieve the physical path to upload to using the information contained here: Accessing webpub.net subsystems
If anonymous surfers need to upload, you should generally use the 'readwritedel' subsystem.
Specifically - in the 'web' folder supplied there. Once files are uploaded there, they can be put in a URL using the 'websystem' virtual directory which gives access to the subsystems
